Esau McCaulley to Give Whitworth's First Emmaus Scholars Lecture February 10, 2021Attachments Whitworth University’s Emmaus Scholars Program and campus ministry are pleased to host award-winning author Rev. Esau McCaulley, Ph.D., who will give the inaugural Emmaus Scholars Lecture on Monday, March 1, from 7-8:30 p.m. McCaulley is a New Testament scholar and Anglican priest. He currently serves as assistant professor of New Testament at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill.McCaulley will be speaking about his book Reading While Black: African American Biblical Interpretation as an Exercise in Hope (Intervarsity Press, 2020).
